Our Experience

Our journey began in 2000, when our founder, Leanne McKnoulty, joined Diagnostic Imaging magazine, a unique global platform for communicating medical imaging news and research. Editor Brian Casey left to found auntminnie.com and Leanne followed him. This successful website informs a global audience of over 15 million medical imaging professionals.

In 2007, Leanne attended University of Queensland to gain postgraduate qualifications in Science Communication, focusing on writing, editing and publishing.

Since 2016, Leanne has been editor-in-residence at Griffith University, initially specialising in health, science and medicine, but now editing across all areas of study.

The company's goal is to enable businesses and individuals to effectively communicate their messages and knowledge through concise, compelling, easy-to understand writing.

Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality content that meets the needs of our clients. We take pride in our ability to understand your unique requirements and provide tailored solutions that drive results.

While academic editing has become our main service, we'll gladly assist any business wanting to target their messaging to improve their positioning in the marketplace.

About Leanne

It all began with a simple request from a U.S. medical imaging magazine to write about an experience volunteering at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. That led to a role summarising research for Diagnostic Imaging and then Auntminnie.com.  Postgraduate writing and editing studies at UQ led to a role as editor-in-residence at Griffith University, Brisbane.

I could not have anticipated the extent to which my assignment improved with some simple clarifications of meaning and attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation. And I learned so much. (Dananjani)

The editing I invested in for my Masters thesis was worth every bit. I'm sure my marks were lifted because my writing improved dramatically, even though the content remained essentially the same. The arguments were clearer and English better.

What a difference a few days makes; I mean a few days of editing. The journal asked me to get the paper editing and I'd encountered Leanne through the GUPSA editing service. I was so glad I reached out because the journal accepted the paper. I'm now published and my research has reached globally.
